SUMMARY:Oops! All Transitions
DESCRIPTION:This two-day intensive focuses on dynamic movement in the air and transition heavy scenes. We’ll cover harness stability and multi-point pick-ups to build a strong technical foundation. Couples will practice creating their own repeatable sequences\, developing confidence and muscle memory for more complex transitions. Participants will explore moving through the air with intention\, experimenting with shapes\, flow\, and new sensations. The course emphasizes creative problem-solving\, safe experimentation\, and combining solid technique with expressive\, connected suspension scenes.

SUMMARY:Speed Tying Social
DESCRIPTION:Tops\, bottoms\, and switches will get hands-on rope practice through bite-sized sessions with each other. There is no “dating” here\, but you will meet\, tie\, and be tied. You will get to tie them on different body types and shapes\, practice creativity and adaptation\, receive feedback\, and test your rope handling skills. You’ll have eight minutes to tie and untie each round\, though this precise timing may vary. \nFolks being tied: experience rope\, practice negotiating\, and compare how different patterns feel on your body. You are encouraged to share preferences or physical limitations to see how different people tying adapt their structures. \nThis is an opportunity to explore what rope can offer. SUMMARY:RBU: Munch
DESCRIPTION:RBU is a munch for anyone who receives rope. This is an event to meet and find peer support among others who are tied. It’s also a place to exchange info\, vet potential tops\, and make friends with similar interests. \nAre you curious about doing rope bottoming? Cool\, you should join us! Do you dabble in rope and are new to Seattle? Welcome and check us out! Do you switch or self-tie? Great\, join us with your “bottom” hat on! If you have been tied in suspension\, or tied up in bed\, or anything in between\, this is a munch for you. Any gender\, any experience level\, and any interest level are welcome to attend. \nThis is not a class or play space. There will be no tying and no demonstrations. Conversation will be guided by the folks that show up. Bring your ideas\, opinions\, and questions. If you are a rope top or romantic partner who wishes to attend\, please respect the focus of our munch by asking questions and listening to the bottoms in attendance. \nLocation: If you need accommodation assistance of any kind\, please let @blushofalush know. \nGroup rules are simple: Speak with good intentions; respect others’ style of rope/rope play; keep each others’ privacy in confidence and do not out anyone; and support the cafe with a food or beverage purchase (optional). \nWhat is RBU? A munch hosted by @blushofalush and @subtly_mean by and for rope bottoms.

SUMMARY:Beginner Shibari
DESCRIPTION:Shibari is the Japanese-inspired practice of aesthetic rope bondage. In this foundational session\, students will learn fundamental ties and techniques to begin their rope journey. Though fundamental\, these techniques can be combined in uncountable ways to produce elaborate shapes and scenarios. Besides learning technical skills\, we will focus on rope bondage as a movement and acrobatic art\, with emphasis on flow\, aesthetics\, and partner connection. This class is appropriate for students that wish to learn shibari as a performing art\, or as a private practice. Attendees can attend solo or as a couple. \nHosted out of a circus school\, this class is ideal for folks that want to explore shibari in a non-kink environment.
