Welcome to the July edition of Rope in Seattle!
Summer’s often a bit slow, as everyone focuses on enjoying the glorious weather while it’s here. Nonetheless, there are plenty of good rope events to go to, including the summer-only Seattle Ropes in Motion series.
We’re always excited to see new classes, so we’re looking forward to Creative Uplines and Microtransitions with Roxanne and Holly.
Full Circle Kink is taking a break from teaching (Tornus is taking on some new projects and won’t have time to teach for a while), but we’re excited that Dan and Esjay will be taking over FCK’s popular Bondage for Beginners class starting in August.

Saturday 6/28 at Gallery Erato This tie-along class will teach the building blocks of rope predicaments, adjustments for safety, and several hot predicament ties you won’t learn anywhere else. Tickets
Saturday 7/12 at Gallery Erato Rope doesn't have to be comfortable! This class covers safe and versatile techniques that can deliver anything from mild discomfort to intense pain. Tickets
Saturday 8/9 at Gallery Erato Interested in bondage, but not sure where to start? Our introductory class will teach you easy and versatile bondage skills as well as basic kink principles. Tickets
Tuesday 8/19 at Gallery Erato This class is for students who already understand basic upline techniques and want to use uplines more creatively. Tickets
Friday 6/27 at Retreat Cafe This is a munch for anyone who receives rope. Let's talk about receiving rope and make friends with other rope bottoms. Details
Tuesday 7/8 A low-key outdoor rope event focused on movement and flow. Somewhere for rope nerds and dance lovers to soak up the sun on Thursday evenings. Details
Wednesday 7/9 at Massive Rope Lab provides collaborative educational spaces for intermediate and advanced male ropers, grounded in peer-learning and skill-share. Details
Saturday 7/12 at Gallery Erato WREG is a peer learning space that empowers fem-identifying, trans, and non-binary rope tops. Details
Saturday 7/12 at Arborea Falls This is a casual workshop type rope environment. You can expect there to be soft landing zones where you can both watch and participate. Details
Wednesday 7/16 at Gallery Erato Neither a workshop nor a play party, but learning does happen, play does happen – and nudity is perfectly fine. Bring rope and your enthusiasm. Details
Thursday 7/17 at Gallery Erato Step into a world where skill meets serenity. Join us for a skillshare focused on the mesmerizing art of rope bondage in an intentionally quiet space. Details
Saturday 7/19 at SubSpace We typically start off with single column and double column practice at 5pm for those who need a refresher and after that we’ll have an hour and a half of instructor led Rope Lab. Tickets
