ComplexiT of OlyRope
I’m @ComplexiT (T/they/she), a queer, nonbinary rope nerd, bottom-leaning switch, and self-suspender. I discovered rope bondage in 2024 as an enthralling form of adult sensory play — activating deep pressure, vestibular, and proprioceptive senses — that can facilitate deep connection and/or self-mastery. This newfound love inspired me to found OlyRope as a safer, kinder, and more accessible community for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent rope lovers in the South Sound. I facilitate all our events in a collaborative, peer-led style. Whether co-leading with my partner @XTCatalyst or not, I almost always offer techniques that work as self-ties so folks without partners have concrete, empowering ways to engage with rope. My goal isn’t to be “the authority” on anything — it’s to help cultivate a space where it feels natural and comfortable for all of us to learn from each other. Because I value ethics and transparency in community, I’ve adopted the KEMS code of conduct and have nothing to disclose.
This organizer has attested that they adhere to KEMS!
